About Caroline

Care is a very active, very intelligent Border collie. She's been through manners, agility, herding and flyball classes. I take her just about everywhere so she's very used to dog-friendly stores & restaurants and has gone on road trips & plane rides with me. She's an eager learner and picks cues up quickly to master a lot of commands and tricks. She loves people and thrives at parks (won't leave you alone as long as you're holding a ball or frisbee) as well as on long-distance runs, hikes and backpacking/camping trips.

  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 3 years, 1 mo. old
  • Weight: 33 lbs
  • Breed: Border Collie
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Spayed: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
  • Gets along with children: No
Care has a very strong instinct to chase and herd kids that are running, so I leash her around children under 10 and don’t let them pet her face.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
She loves running and chasing but will typically let dogs who are rough-housing know when she's had enough.
  • Gets along with cats: No
The first cat she met lunged at her and scared her. She'll typically bark at the sight of one.

About Waylon

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 4 months old
  • Weight: 27 lbs
  • Breed: Border Collie
  • Tracking Chip: No
  • Neutered: No
  • House Trained: No
He’s picking it up quickly but needs lots of praise when he goes outside.
  • Gets along with children: No
Unknown, but he’s a herding dog and a puppy at that, typically not a good match for kids under 10.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
He’s very interested in other dogs. He’ll bark at dogs barking at him but otherwise just wants to investigate.
  • Gets along with cats: No
    He’s a herder from a farm, I imagine he’ll chase.
