Pet care experience
I'm the girl at a social gathering that you find with an animal on the floor. As of last year, my parents have been temporarily housing my 7 year old chocolate lab, Harlee, while I focus on law school in the city. I am on Rover to fill the void of missing her by loving your pup either through walking/running, hiking, feeding, or just plain loving on him or her! I'm a very active young adult with a relatively flexible schedule. I have always owned a dog and have privately house-sit/dog-sit for individuals in Los Angeles and D.C. for the past 5 years. I am a very trustworthy individual and have references if needed. I have the temperament of a golden retriever and diligence of a german shepherd, but am technically an all-American mut. Kristina has been checking in on our cat, Ripley, intermittently over the past year while my wife and I are traveling. Her checkins (and the photos!) make us feel much better leaving him otherwise home alone.
Kristina is the best! She has checked in on our cat many times and is reliable and quick to reply. Our cat is shy, but Kristina put in the extra effort to get to know him- We can tell by the pictures that he enjoys his time with her which makes us feel a lot better . Highly recommend!
Kristina looked after our cat Ripley while we were out of town for the weekend - he needed a little extra attention because he was on antibiotics (which she administered). Kristina and Ripley seem to have gotten along great - we appreciated the status updates that she sent, and he was definitely in a good mood when we got home to see him.
Kristina did a fantastic job looking after my young pup Penny while I was out of town for several days. She was always prompt and an excellent communicator, asking lots of good questions, giving frequent updates with pictures and GPS maps for walks. She even took great care of Penny's paw, that had been slightly injured before I left, giving Penny baths to help the healing process. Penny was a very happy puppy. I highly recommend Kristina!

I have no breed preferences – I think all dogs are wonderful, even the moodier, saltier ones. Just give me warning if he/she will bite my face off. :)
A typical day
If there is a dog park close by and your pup socializes well with others I would be happy to take him/her there for some fetch, chase, or tug-o-war. I love grass on hot days so it's not hard on the pup's paws and will always make sure they are well hydrated. I also like to take them to pet-friendly restaurants, with owner permission, maybe even treat them to some plain burger patties. I am open to any fun activities you would otherwise do with your dog!
