I am a lifelong pet owner (dogs, cats,and a variety of other friends - both furry and finned), volunteered with dog rescues on and off prior to having kids, and currently volunteer at a local horse rescue. For the past six years, I have been pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and family. I am a writer and work from home, so I had the great idea to combat the isolation and sedentary lifestyle this profession requires by offering dog walking services to my local community. I love dogs, love their company, their unconditional love, crazy antics, weird idiosyncrasies, everything about them! My dog does get the majority of my attention, but he is getting up there in years, and can't hang 5+ mile runs and other strenuous adventures anymore. He thinks he can, but really he can't. So I thought maybe I'd share the love with other dogs! While I am focused primarily on dog walking and daytime checks in your home, I will also consider boarding and possibly even overnight house-sitting on a case by case basis.
