Pet care experience
I grew up around pit bulls so they hold a special place in my heart, but I love all doggos—big, little, seniors, and puppies. And after 25 years of being an obsessive Dog Person, I adopted a cat and turns out I'm obsessed with him too. Both of our pets at home are completely deaf so I'm not a stranger to special needs animals.

Kristin very satisfactorily met our need for a home away from home for our special needs dog. After a long trip, we were pleased to find our deaf, anxious rescue mutt was calm and happy.

Of course things like medication maintenance and feeding schedules are important but I also want to know what your dog likes and not just what they need. Favorite toys? Long-standing rivalry with your cat? What spot is theirs on the couch? Or are they not allowed on the couch and think I'm a sucker?
A typical day
I take regular walks around the Humboldt Park neighborhood and visit Logan Square Dog Park for dogs that can safely enjoy an off-leash park. Also a big fan of a little car ride to get a pup cup from Starbucks!
