Aloha Dog Walking ~ Where Aloha Meets Charm Believe it or not, I used to be an accountant. I earned my CPA license after completing a Master of Accountancy degree at the University of Wisconsin and worked at a top public accounting firm auditing the mortgage servicing portfolio of one of the world’s largest banks. I was, as some may call it, successful. But I felt like a failure. Somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of optimism, my fearlessness, and my sense of adventure. I needed to make a change - a drastic one. And so I quit and moved to Hawaii. There, I rediscovered my sense of purpose by pursuing my passion to work with and care for dogs. I worked as a dogwalker for three years, gaining invaluable experience working with a range of different dog breeds. I learned the importance of the pack mentality as well as how to use positive reinforcement training techniques to encourage appropriate behavior. In addition to the technical skills, I developed meaningful and life-impacting relationships with both the dogs and my clients. I learned the importance of demonstrating the aloha spirit, acting with patience, humility, and sincerity in everything I do. These invaluable attributes are at the core of Aloha Dog Walking. After a life event prompted me to move from Honolulu to Baltimore in the summer of 2018, I decided to go after my vision and open a dog walking business focussed on providing professional, reliable, and personalized services to the dogs of Charm City. From the Midwest to the Pacific and now to the East Coast, I am excited to bring my spirit and sense of adventure to Aloha Dog Walking. Now serving Fells Point / Canton / East Harbor areas, I am excited to work with you and your dog(s). Let me carry the leash!
