Hi! My name is Kristin and I've recently moved to Alexandria after living in Richmond, Virginia for 6 years and graduating from the University of Richmond (go spiders!). I've grown up always having pets and love animals. In fact, I've worked with a dog rescue in Puerto Rico for the last 8 years (Amigos de los Animales). I grew up with 3 dogs and 3 cats, however, I do not have a pet currently and really miss spending time and taking care of one. I am very energetic, responsible, and organized. I have had experience taking care of my family and friends' dogs in the past and am excited to continue this part-time passion. I have been working with Rover for 2 years providing care to dogs and cats. Message me about setting up a meet & greet so I can meet your dog or cat, and if they are boarding with me, they can come get accustomed to my apartment! As a policy, and for the sake of your pet's safety, I only board one pet at a time (or 2 pets from the same owner) since I know animals can be nervous in new environments and this can change their usual behavior. I am comfortable adding medication to a dog's food, however, do not have experience administering it via a needle or placing it in a dog's mouth.
