I am a teacher and have lots of flexibility during school breaks and throughout the summer. During the school year, I am available to check on your fur baby in the morning, and then again in the late afternoon through the evening hours. During the day, I cannot provide frequent drop-ins or remain in your home. I am unavailable to stay in your home overnight until I have had several successful visits with your dog, have built a trusting working relationship with you, and am comfortable with your space. During the summer/weekends/school breaks I am much more flexible in the Millbrook, NY area, and can expand my offerings to stay-the-day in-home care, drop-in walking, and/or afternoon/evening checks and/or overnights (once conditions described earlier are satisfied). I am happy to be your go-to stand-in pet Mom once we've established a good working relationship. I do have a family of my own, so I will be choosy about the times/places I take on. I do not want to overbook myself and I appreciate notice on bookings and cancellations alike. I do maintain an active schedule for my family's activities and I appreciate those who respect that and give notice. However, if a last-minute cancellation arises, I do understand; I expect that we treat each other with mutual respect. I have also worked as a personal assistant in the past and value personal privacy and respect boundaries.
