Hi I’m Kristin and I love dogs and cats! And while many can say they’ve been animal lovers since birth, I’ve been one since before I was born. My mom can attest to the number of times I kicked inside her belly, trying to escape to play with our family cats and dogs. Since then, being around animals has been something that brings daily joy, reducing the stress of everyday life! There’s nothing better than coming home to a sweet pup and cats at the end of the day, your dog wagging its tail with joy and your cats purring, happy you’re home! :) In addition to my experience caring for dogs and cats growing up and my volunteer work at the local humane society, I currently have two cats and one dog of my own. Rocky is my older pup with the energy of a three year old! Imagine a dog that looks like a muppet and acts like the energizer bunny… that’s Rocky! He’s one of the most important parts of my life and I will treat any pup in my care just as I treat him! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup or cat and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs and cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I also understand how hard it is to be away from your fur baby so I’ll ensure constant and consistent communication, keeping you informed every step of the way. You’ll get adorable photos and videos of your four-legged family member while you’re away, plus updates of what we got up to during the stay. No matter what, your pet will have a safe and happy time in my care.
