Sonic recently lost his older brother Newton to cancer, so he’s getting used to be being the only son. Sonic is my child, and I would treat any dog the same way. Sonic gets the run of my apartment (its basically his apartment. I just pay the rent), eat nutritional food and treats (only the best for my boy), and has several walks throughout the day. I live with my boyfriend who works from home, so any dog we watch is rarely alone. I’ve been working at an animal rescue & shelter for almost two years, and at work I interact with all dog breeds (primarily small to medium size dogs) with all kinds of temperaments and medical conditions. We also foster dogs through my work who are very shy or scared, or have medical conditions. Any dog coming into my home would need to get along with Sonic, so meet and greets are very important to me. I am happy to watch puppies and senior dogs, however Sonic is more fond of shy and mellow dogs.
