Pet care experience
I have worked at an animal shelter for 12 years and dogs were always in my home growing up. I live in Ypsi and have a little Cavalier King Charles of my own and love it. I work from home every day so love the opportunity to get outside and meet more dogs! Animals are essential to human happiness, in my opinion, and I will treat your dog as an essential part of your life. The care I give will always adapt to what the dog needs, and I am willing to put in the time and effort to know exactly what that will entail. Thank you for trusting me with your dog(s)!

Kristin is amazing! She treats the dogs like humans, giving them love and attention. Highly recommend her to any dog owner. Kristin will snuggle with my pups endlessly and take them on adventures. I have a bigger, strong pup and Kristin has no problem telling him who’s boss on walks.
Kristin is such an amazing and kindhearted person. Shes nurturing, passionate, and trustworthy. I would be so happy to have her spend time with my best friend!

If I were to host a dog, since I work from home it would be fully supervised and we have a fenced in back yard for bathroom and exercise. I am clean, proactive with ideas to keep dogs busy and having fun with fun sniffing treats, puzzles and lots of love.

I would love to know their favorite toys, activities, and if they have any kind of nervousness surrounding anything we may encounter on a visit. I want to make their lives as stress free as possible so any information that will help them get to know a stranger is helpful.
A typical day
The walks should be enriching, therefore whatever fun scenery or availability to run them around I can give I will! Their playfulness will obviously depend on the dog, so after talking with owners and getting to know the dogs I will know more of their personality and what they would like to do with me. If it is a home visit, I will encourage life to be as routine and stress free, whether that be playing with their toys on their favorite rug, or running in their favorite backyard spots. I am determined to get to know each dog individually and adapt to their needs.

Availability
My schedule is very flexible as I work from home. I take care of my current dog during the day so am very used to the normal schedule/ routine of dogs.
