I have had dogs, cats, and horses since I was a kid. I am comfortable with any size dog with any needs they may have. I’m an avid outdoors person as well as an avid runner, so I am happy to take them on walks, hikes, runs, bikes, etc. Whatever they may need to fit their exercise needs! I am also completely content snuggling up with your pup with a good book on the couch, or lounging on the patio furniture in the fenced-in back yard enjoying some sun. I will provide whatever environment you think will be best for them while you’re away!

So thankful! Kristin took in my 13 year old pup for a long weekend. I got great pictures and updates throughout the trip and he looked so happy the whole time! It’s obvious he was in great hands, I’m very appreciative!

I have my own home that is welcome to dogs of all kinds, sizes and needs. I have a 6’ fenced in back yard and am close to the chain of lakes for awesome walks! I do have 1 dog friendly cat who is declawed and generally prefers to just keep his distance from your pup and pretend they aren’t there. It would be important to me that your pup is familiar with cats so my resident cat can maintain his dog friendliness! Rest assured, I will treat your dog as if they were my own so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

I would love to know any background information that you think would be helpful in making sure they have the best stay. Feeding schedule, walking schedules, lengths of walks, if we should avoid busy routes or choose the ones with the most interaction. Whatever information helps me give your dog(s) the most comfortable stay while you’re gone!
A typical day
I am located close to multiple dog parks as well as the chain of lakes that has access to miles of trails. I am happy to take your pup on as long (or as short) of a walk as they require.

I work for a school, so I have summers off. This leaves me incredibly flexible to take care of your pets during the day. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights to take the best care of your furry friend!
