My son Jack and I have been pet sitting and dog walkers all of his life. 14 years later, we still love happy wagging tails and contented purrs from our clients! We put a lot of thought and attention into making sure our Rover guests enjoy their stay. We love our pets and treat every pet like we would want our own treated. I am a teacher in non-COVID times and bring that structure and fun to our pet sitting. We don't just throw the dogs in our backyard for the day. We start with organized play allowing all the dogs to get to know each other. Then we supervise play as the dogs run and interact positively. I have nap times scheduled, so nobody gets overwhelmed or too tired. I pay special attention to our smaller and younger guests; they will be in a safe environment and not run over by larger dogs. I don’t take dogs over 40lbs. I always monitor how our guests feel, and if they need a quiet space or some extra pets, we oblige. For our boarders, we have normal meal times, morning and night. Evenings, we like to wind everyone down and have family movie nights. The dogs usually make themselves comfortable in the family room with us, and it's an easy transition to bedtime. We have dog beds in every room and make sure everyone is sleeping where they are comfortable. I am a stay at home mom, gardener, clay artist, and all-around outdoor enthusiast; weather permitting, your pooches can get plenty of supervised outdoor time with me. We really make an effort to make sure every guest is happy, safe, and having fun while they are with us.
