I always had pups as a child and worked for a veterinary clinic for 2 years. Then, I began work at a no-kill animal shelter where I cared mostly for larger dogs (70+ lbs). I usually had 20-25 dogs under my care. I administered medications and dressed any minor wounds while doing basic care such as feeding, baths, walks, etc. My boyfriend and I fostered many dogs from the no-kill shelter that I worked. Each dog we fostered got adopted within two weeks! I love running and recently completed the Emerald Isle Half Marathon and the Mosquito Run 10k at Fort Macon State Park. Currently, I do not have any dogs but I have a 19 year old tortoise shell cat. She is still very active and loves life!
