Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Kristin and I have been a Rover Dig Sitter Since 2017 and I have to say it is the best job I have ever had. I currently offer dog walking, house sitting, and drop in services. I first joined Rover while in college at the University of Delaware (go Blue Hens!!!) and I still enjoy doing it now that I am settled into my career. I work full time as a Sustainability Coordinator during typical business hours (8:30am-5pm, M-F) and I am best suited to care for pets that are used to a similar schedule! I've had a dog (Max, Bichon Frise) for the past 16 years and I have learned many tips and tricks along the way for caring for dogs (currently, Max lives with my parents, so he will not be with me during visits). I've also been pet sitting for the last 10 years or so: dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, you name it, for many neighbors and family friends. I can walk, feed, and play with dogs of any size and breed while taking care of your furry friend. I am comfortable with senior dogs with medical needs and young puppies with a lot of energy. We use Kristin consistently to watch our three dogs. Not only has she done an amazing job working around our schedules and our dogs' schedules, but she does an amazing job with our fearful dog. Hazel, an abused rescue dog, makes finding dogsitters difficult since she scares some people off with her initial aggression towards strangers. But Kristin took her on anyway, and over the last couple years, has won the hearts of all our dogs. Kristin is so flexible, sometimes just doing drop in visits, and sometimes staying for up to 10 days at a time with our dogs in our home. Kristin does more than required, having vacuumed during some of her longer stays and having cleaned up after sick dogs. She administers medications to our dogs, walks them, and gives them tons of love. We wholeheartedly recommend her!
Kristin does a great job with my pets. Everything is always well taken care of while I am away. Congratulations on graduating!
Kristin was fantastic. Her correspondence and pics throughout her stay with our sweet willow were so great and appreciated. My pooch did not feel well while I was gone and Kristin handled everything perfectly. She communicated consistently. I would definitely have her return!
