I think dogs are simply fabulous! I grew up taking care of my childhood dog, a cocker spaniel named Buddy. I was a nanny for about five years, and that often entailed taking care of my clients' pets. I have been taking care of friends and clients' pets, plants, and houses for over ten years. I have a very calming and grounding personality, so animals tend to feel at ease in my presence. I am very confident in my ability to care for your beloved creatures! On a personal note, I am a PSU undergrad studying plant biology and earth science. I'm headed towards research and teaching in the field of bryology and climate change. I also teach yoga and work as a barista. I love to walk around downtown Portland anyway on my own time, so it would be awesome for me to help your furry friends get some exercise while I am at it!
