One of my clients calls me the “Fairy Godmother” of the pets I care for and another referenced me as a modern day Mary Poppins. I don’t just walk dogs and feed your pets. I develop bonds and healthy relationships with them. I am your eyes and ears when you are unable to be there. I monitor their physical condition, their temperament, looking for any changes to ensure they are healthy and balanced. I am a professional and this is my full time job. I take my job very seriously and am passionate about my clients and their pets. I am committed to developing relationships with my clients and provide loving care to your dogs and cats for some time. My entire life has revolved around dogs. They have always been a constant in my life and as an adult I have always owned multiple dogs. I currently have five dogs (three adults and two puppies. I am an advocate for all dogs purebreds, mixed, rescues and shelter dogs (no dog should ever feel unloved or experience anything less than a happy healthy life). I am devoted to my dogs and would love to be as devoted to yours as well. I’ve never met a dog that I didn't instantly connect with and I am comfortable with all types of dogs, from the young pups to the geriatric. I once flew to Canada to help whelp a litter of puppies and stayed through the first two weeks as a nanny to make sure mom and pups were safe and sound. I also nanny young puppies, a puppy nanny so to speak. When a new puppy arrives at your home, I am available to help get your puppy settled and on a routine while you are at work. It's a collaboration between me and the puppy owner. So often puppies come to a new home at a very young age, may have no crate training experience or they haven't started potty training and my job is two work with them and you to make this happen. I also am very familiar for the growth physical and mental stages of puppies and understand the importance of each stage, especially fear stages. Basically I help your puppy to have the best start in life. If you bring home an older dog that may require more attention I can help with this too. I'm happy to assist new puppy or dog owners in any way that I can. I also have tremendous experience with special needs dogs such as spinal issues, disc degenerative disease, geriatric issues, cancer, allergies, laryngeal paralysis, kidney disease etc. I understand dog behavior and communication and have worked with dogs that have had behavioral issues. Positive energy, proper training and socialization are key to having healthy relationships with animals, especially dogs. Safety, health and happiness are paramount!. I'm able to offer this to your pets while you are away. Your pet or pets will always feel secure and loved when I am with them. I would love the opportunity to spoil your pets. It can me customized to your needs, one or two hours in the evening and then an early wake up the next morning. If you are going away and would like to have more than the typical 3 visits a day. If you have two pets there is no additional charge, it is just as easy to take care of two and it warms my heart to know that they won’t be lonely. If you have more than two dogs/cats or have unique situation, I am more than happy to work with you on a case by case basis, please feel free to speak with me! And while you are away I will be more than happy to keep your home cared for by bringing in the newspaper, packages and the mail, rotate lighting and adjust the blinds, water plants, turn on the radio or tv (dogs find it comforting) and always a basic security check (doors, windows securely locked). I do require a quick meet and greet before the initial visit, I feel it is important to meet you and your puppy before I care for them. I look forward to taking care of your precious pet!
