I work from home full time and now that our kids are grown and have left the nest, I would love to fill my days with furry friends! My husband and I both love dogs (we were dog-owners for many years and currently dog-sit for many of our friends), but we travel a lot so we feel like it would be unfair to the dog if we were to get one of our own. But when we're not traveling I'd love to hang out with your pup! We have a nice yard in a quiet neighborhood with great walking areas. We live on a lake so if your pup loves to swim, we've got you covered. We also have a fenced yard away from the lake. We have no pets, so I would be able to focus on yours! You can rest easy knowing that your fur baby will be loved while you're away. PS - I bake yummy dog treats made with spent grains, all-natural peanut butter, and eggs. I would love to share if your puppers can eat all of those things!

Kristi was great! First time i had been apart from my 10 year old dog so i was a little concerned leaving her. Kristi sent me daily updates/pictures that let me know she was being well taken care of. I don't know if it was the nice home in a quiet residential neighborhood or maybe the homemade dog treats but my dog came home rejuvenated. It is like she is 5 again! I think she may have had an even better vacation than I did. Do not hesitate to have Kristi take care of your furry best friend when you have to be out of town!
My dog was in great hands when leaving him with Kristi. From Kristi’s homemade dog treats to daily photo updates, she made Jackson feel right at home and I could tell she has genuine love and care for dogs. I will definitely have Jackson stay with Kristi again!

Please let me know about your dog's usual routine, dietary needs, energy level, and favorite things to do! House-trained pups only, please. Crate-trained required for overnights. No pups with aggression issues or destructive tendencies. All breeds are welcomed and loved.
A typical day
We have a beautiful neighborhood for walks, and live just a couple of minutes from nature trails. If your dog doesn't prefer the company of other dogs, then your baby and I can hang out, just the two of us. I have a nice grassy yard, a fenced area, and a lake.
