Pet care experience
Being a pet lover and owner myself, I understand the anxiety of leaving your baby/babies at home while you are away. Let me help calm your anxieties so you can enjoy your day, trip, vacation, or whatever the case may be for your absence. I have always owned a dog, until the last 1.5 years. My husband and I heartbreakingly lost both of our furbabies and I feel a void. We aren't quite ready to adopt yet, but this would be a great way to fill that void and help out families who need their loved ones looked after while they can't be at home. Since I have owned many types of breeds, I am comfortable around all types, sizes and personalities! I also have no issues with giving medications- whether it be orally or intravenously. I grew up on a farm so I am comfortable around many types of animals and have recently taken care of a home with a cat, bearded dragon, goldfish and 2 bunnies while they went on vacation. Even though I wasn't asked to, I vacuumed around the litter box everyday to keep the area clean, watered their house plants and shoveled the snow off of their sidewalk, walkway, steps and driveway. ****Update**** Due to my work schedule- I am only able to provide morning and evening visits, and overnight stays. I work Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and an occasional Friday. I guarantee you that I will go above and beyond your expectations!

Kristi goes above and beyond to make the dog feel comfortable. She ran Bo 8 more minutes than she had to and even took some of Bo's favorite treats and toys with her as they ran. Bo returned to the house with a 10/10 golden retriever smile.
Kristi's care of our dog, bunny and even frog AND our home were everything and more than I would hope to care for our "family" while we were away. In spite of wet weather, she made sure our girl got her exercise, love and much attention! She dried her down and even cleaned our floors of muddy paw prints and the never ending supply of dog hair. Thanks for brushing her teeth each day as well ! She kept us updated daily - even sending us pictures of our happy girl. She insured lights and drapes were changed daily making our home appeared lived in. All of this gave us much peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away in spite of missing our pets. Thank you Kristi for your dedication and care. VERY Highly recommend.
Kristi is one of the kindest, most loving people I have ever met. She has such a huge heart for animals and she is also very trust worthy and responsible. I would be more than comfortable having her in my home and knowing that my dogs are getting the best care and most wonderful love while I am not home. She will become a favorite very quickly in your organization.
Kristi is hands down the best dog lover. We needed a dog sitter and she was over the top excited when we asked her to watch our dog, Diego. She made sure he was well taken care of followed all our routines, put meds in his ears and spoiled him with a lot of attention. She took him on walks to the park, played fetch with him and even let him snuggle on the couch with her. We would definitely have Kristi watch him again.

I have no breed preferences. I would certainly want to know what type of personality the dog has - does he do well around other dogs, people and animals? Is there a certain activity that they love such as playing ball, swimming, or walking? Do they have abandonment issues or separation anxiety?
A typical day
I love playing ball with dogs. The look of pure excitement on my Lab's face when a ball was shown was amazing. Walks would depend on the dog's personality. Some dogs are rescues who are not comfortable around strangers so a dog park, greenbelt or populated area would not be appropriate. I would need to learn information about the dogs before deciding where and if to go on walks.
