Pet care experience
I have five years of experience working in an animal hospital. During that time I was the lead kennel attendant as well as the Doggie Daycare coordinator. Working in an animal hospital also afforded me many opportunities to assist the nurses and doctors. Between learning basic animal medical care, meeting the needs of different animal borders, and operating that Doggie Daycare on a day to day basis, I feel that I have a significant amount of experience and knowledge that your average dog walker wouldn't be able to offer. My husband and I do have three dogs of our own. I brought each dog home from, the animal hospital with the intention of "fostering" them until they were healthy enough to find their forever homes. Clearly, as years have passed, I fail as a foster mother!

This is the second time we've asked Kristi to watch our kittens, and has been nothing short of exceptional. Personally, if we need a sitter again, Kristi will be my first call!
Kristi took cute pictures of my pets and was very communicative!!
Kristi did an excellent job taking care of Charlie. She was always very flexible and was always prompt. My puppy had so much fun playing with Kristi, I got to see from all the pictures she sent me. I could not recommend more.
Kristi was absolutely awesome with our 4 month old puppy! She exercised her, played with her and sent loads of pictures and videos while we were away! We would definitely ask her to keep Millie again in the future!

We live on 9 acres about 1/3 mile off the road. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have trails in our woods that my dogs greatly enjoy. I have no problem making your dogs is always on a leash when outside of my home. I take 2 long walks a day whether I'm caring for dogs or not, and would be more than happy to have your dog be my walking buddy while staying with us.

I do not have a breed preference, but prefer not to board intact male dogs in my home. My dogs are all very easy going. I would need to have a dog visit my home to see how they interact with my dogs if they have any issues with food or toy aggression.
A typical day
If walking on our trails isn't enough exercise for your dogs, we have a park with an enclosed tennis court nearby where I often take dogs to be able to run and play off leash.

Availability
I currently work part time, which affords me plenty of time to give your fur baby lots of attention. However, that does mean that I am not available for house sitting bookings that would require me to be at your home all day.
