Hello! I have a dog-loving family with a 10 year old rescue pup-at-heart, and a cat who thinks he's a dog. I live on 4 acres, one acre fenced-in, and 50 acres of hiking land behind my property. Our house is laid back, dogs are welcome on the couch and on the beds. We have a living room big enough to play fetch on rainy days and wear out a small to medium sized dog! We have 2 boys, 4- and 7-years old, who love all animals and are taught to respect and care for our animals. Our dog, Memphis, is about 45lb "retriever-terrier" mix, neutered, and friendly-submissive by nature. He makes friends with guinea pigs and lets chihuahuas win at toy tug of war. Memphis was diagnosed with epileptic seizures during the first 4 years of his life but has not had one in the past 6 years. I am familiar with what to do in case of a seizure to make sure a dog is secure and safe.
