Home all day & I do this FULL time!

Pet care experience

***Dogs MUST be able to get along with other dogs.*** I am a multiple stay provider. I do this FULL time, this is what I do, which means that someone is with your pup(s) pretty much 24/7! My family helps out too. ***Please be courteous. DO NOT MESSAGE ME UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO BOOK WITH ME. My profile tells you everything you need to get started with me, my calendar is up to date. I'm extremely easy, I make this process extremely easy. Please be prepared, ask all family members, friends, etc BEFORE messaging me. I recieve way too many requests only to say a family member/friend will do it. This type of inquiry hurts my profile and ranking within Rover and it does so unfairly. It makes it hard for someone else to find me who actually does need me. So, please just be ready and know I will book you so long as your dog gets along with others. I can’t pick through the serious requests so I put my time and effort into each one. Thank you for your understanding*** ***I no longer offer meet n greets since Covid. You can call and speak with me and I do offer daycare instead as an option to get to know us first if you are concerned. This is purely for my more worried clients as it’s not something that I need if you meet my profile. Thankfully I am blessed to hear from many owners wanting to book with me; however, I get so many requests that I can no longer spend the time it takes away from the dogs to setup all the meet n greets. It was taking up too much time. Some people were scammers or shopping around or just not genuine about needing someone as well. So, instead I like to put that time to better use and be with the dogs that I do have. I can commit to them as much as possible now, thank you for understanding!*** Hello, I’m Kristi, thanks for checking out my profile. I am an avid animal lover and so is my family! I’ve always had pets ever since I was little, so they’ve always played a huge role in my life. Over the years, I’ve owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, rodents, fish, rabbits, chickens, and even horses; I mean you name it, I’ve probably owned it! Having animals around just makes life a little bit sweeter. I am very accommodating and compassionate. I go that extra mile for my clients and their pets. At the end of the day, I want you and your pet happy with my services. Although I have lots of experience with pets of all sorts, I’m not afraid to learn new things or change up something if needed. Each dog has their own personalities and that’s ok with me. I do not have a “cookie cutter, one fits all” approach. I make sure to tailor my care specifically for each and every dogs individual needs. I believe that no animal deserves to be locked in a cage all day for hours and hours on end, so you can rest easy knowing that your dog will have the freedom to stretch out and be apart of my family while you are away. I live in my own home with a nice fenced-in yard, so they have plenty of room to run around and play. I live in a single story home so there are no steps for those older pups to have to deal with. Since my yard is fenced in we go outside multiple times a day. I am always there to supervise them. I won’t just leave them out there by themselves either. I want to make this as easy as possible for you and your pet. I’m very flexible and easy to work with. I’m great for last minute planners or emergency’s, I always try to make it work if I can. One of the many perks with me, is that I’m always at home, unless it’s for short errands such as picking up/dropping off my daughter to school or a quick grocery or bank run etc. Second huge perk, is that you will always be informed when I’m taking care of your pets. I love sending updates and taking pictures. This isn't just a job to me, it’s a passion of mine. I love what I do! The animals can feel that positive, caring, compassionate, energy too. I treat each animal as if they were my own. I’m like grandma, I get to love and spoil them, just kidding but...it’s their vacation too right!? Your pet is my #1 priority and I take that very seriously. I have no other obligations that keep me away from my home for hours, so your pet will have my undivided attention and love!

Krista was extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and information while my dogs were with her. She sent countless photos and videos of my dogs playing or napping or anything in between. She let me know how they were eating, drinking, and adjusting with the other dogs. She made us feel comfortable and know that our dogs were safe and well taken care of while we were away. Will be using again in the future!

Wow, outstanding service, knowledge, and attention to details of my puppy. Which many updates through my puppy stay (with videos & msgs). Over the top, from what I was to expect for a first time user over night boarding. Please use her services.

What you need to bring with your pet on drop off: Their food is a must, but other than that...I have all the basic items someone might need while staying here: bowls, crates, bedding, toys, etc. This makes it super easy for owners to come and go quickly and not make it a cumbersome job of packing everything up for the pup. All you need to do is bring the dogs food and treats if they get them(I generally can't give treats because of the other dogs around but if I'm able I will), bedding is optional but I highly discourage bringing it unless you are ok with what could happen. Most dogs like the couch anyways and bedding is one of those things that other dogs like to either chew, eat, or mark on, so beds are better left home unless they are not allowed on the couch and/or they actually love their bed over anything else. I have bowls, crates(if crated), and bedding(if they are well behaved not to eat, chew, pee on or destroy it). My home takes into consideration what I do I have modified different aspects of it to be safe, useful and comfortable for them but for my family too. This isn't just a hobby, Dogs are my world. I now require dogs to be able to be crated IF needed, this does not mean that they will be crated. I need owners to understand that this could be a possibility if I see this is needed. I learn best from the dogs themselves and there could be multiple reasons a crate would be needed. Safety is my top concern, if I need to leave I can't be worried that your pups life could be in danger or that they could be tearing the house or other dogs apart. Generally speaking I'm not talking about during the day or when I'm home. Im talking about at bedtime or when I need to step out, these are the main times this might be needed. My day consists of the dogs being with me all day, they are out and about with me. Where I am they are too, we just hang out just as if they were home with their own family. I spend most of my time with them either on the couch, outside or in the living/dining room.

I would not be the right fit for you or your pup, please do not waste mine or your time with a message. This is literally the only sticking point I have, we take dogs of all sorts, quirks and personalities but aggression is not one I want to deal with. I do not accept is a dog or human aggressive dog. If you have any real doubts or concerns about your pups ability to get along with other dogs or, as the owner, you will be overly worried about your dogs safety and/or their comfort levels around other dogs during their stay and ideally, you would prefer a single stay provider; I kindly ask in this case, please do not message me. I am a multiple stay provider. I usually have and do take multiple dogs at one time.* Whether your dog is young and energetic or elderly and lazy, or maybe somewhere in between, that’s ok! Each dog is unique and I understand that. I tailor my day to make sure each dog has what they need. I enjoy dogs of all shapes, breeds, sizes and personalities. I have no preference on what dogs I board, I love them all! I’m great with large dogs too. If your dog has some quirks, that’s OK. Since I accept and have multiple dogs, it’s a great chance to get your puppies or young dogs socialized if you don’t have the ability yourself. I love working with dogs that need a little extra love and attention too. I offer full GROOMING. Makes it easy since they are already here for their stay. They get to go home clean. Baths $30, trim and smooth(Dremel) nails $15, trim sanitary/face/paws $15 (if not full shaving), shaving $30 which includes everything. **The only dog I cannot accept is an aggressive dog(people or other dog aggressive)**

A typical day

I live close to the Abington/ Brockton line. I’m so excited to have a fenced in yard for the pups to run around and play in! It’ll be great for energetic dogs who love to run, or even for dogs who love to explore. They’ll get to play with other dogs too, this is really the best thing with me. I have multiple dogs a day and it's like living at the dog park so if your dog loves to play with others they will LOVE it here, even if your dog doesn't it can also be a place for relaxation. I usually have dogs of all stages and of all personalities. The ones that like to play leave the ones that dont alone because they keep busy with the ones that like to play too. Just having me around makes a huge difference for dogs that just like companionship and who do not like to be alone. Sometimes the dogs have their own ideas of what’s fun to them, so I follow their lead. If they want to play we’ll play together, or if your dog just likes to lay around in the sun and take in the day we’ll sit outside together. I let the dog decide what pace they are comfortable with. *My cut off times for Drop off and Pick up are from 8:30am-6pm. If you think you’ll fall outside these hours, please be respectful of my time. My time with my family, my time taking care of the other dogs just like I do with your pups and extend your stay accordingly.* I will charge a fee if after 6pm. I will take into consideration late or earlier drop/pickup requests, so long my schedule accommodates. Please make sure it is something I can accommodate and it will be an extra fee.
