Pet care experience
I am a stay at home mom with lots of time on my hands. I love animals and working with a variety of animals is my hearts desire and life passion. I have owned animals for over 20 years and have even worked in the veterinary field as an assistant. I am comfortable giving medications and am a positive reinforcement training type. I currently own two dogs, three birds, and an adorable snail. I have had a few reptiles and other exotic critters as well, so I am well versed and capable to handle just about any type of pet. I love all creatures equally but am a special fan of cats and birds in particular... but dogs are always more fun to be with!

Kristen did a great job with our Shorthaired Pointer while we were out of town for five nights. She took walks and sent great pictures. Our dog Kona seemed to really enjoy her other pets and came home very happy. Thanks Kristen!

I have a fenced yard, respectful children, and my two pups are very friendly with every kind of critter. Our house is pretty calm considering we have children, but at time they can get a tad loud and rowdy.

Before sitting for any pets, it's very importart that I know they are good with children. I have a toddler who will be my perma-sidekick and his safety is very important. Being raised with so many different animals has made him very respectful and he gives animals space. So rest assured, your lovely pets wont be bothered by my kiddo.
A typical day
We love to spend our days outdoors, trying to hike as often as possible. We try to get out nearly every day, and like to include our pets as much as we can.
