Pet care experience
I have owned pets for almost my entire life. My first jobs were working at a veterinary clinic and pet sitting for family and friends. My job at the veterinary included caring for the dogs and cats in boarding and staying in the ICU after any types of procedures. I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I've cared for dogs that enjoy long walks and others that just want to lounge on the couch all day. I have cared for healthy, young puppies who need constant attention and older dogs who unfortunately have many health issues. But, I love dogs and I take them as they are. I work during the day, but I am available before work, lunch break, evenings, and weekends to care for any dogs.

0 stars. Worst house sitter. Dog was not fed. Dog was not walked enough, and cat and dog was allowed to defecate in our home. I found animal feces through out family room, laundry room and in our guest bath off family room. I found a feces soaked mop head in my bathroom shower and feces on the brand new shower curtain. Candles were lit to mask smell. There was strong evidence that our pets were left alone and that she did not sleep here. We are sick to our stomachs that she lied and we have no idea how well our pets were taken care. Our dog is showing signs of stress and is not acting happy and well adjusted.
Kristen was awesome with this nervous Nelly dog mama and our equally anxious rescue dog ;-) She checked in frequently and spent a lot of time with him. Will happily book her again and again!

I do not have any breed preferences. I just like to know as much about the dog as possible. Are there any special routines or treats or toys the dog prefers? Is there anything the dog does not like?
A typical day
Depending on the area, we will go on walks in the neighborhood. If the dog likes rides, I have my backseat set up as a doggie seat to take dogs on rides to the park for walks there.
