Pet care experience
I’ve worked with all kinds of animals for years! Growing up I took care of not only my own pets, but I’ve volunteered with local rescues, potty-trained friend’s dogs, I’ve also done my share of research on general animal health. I believe that all animals deserve love and safety! I would love the opportunity to meet your fur-baby!

Kristen was an amazing find for us! She is very kind and caring, and she took great care of our fur babies and sent us daily photos of our boys. I really love that she took the time to play with them and and tended to all their needs. She was very prompt and communicated with us each day. I will definitely ask Kristen to care for my pets again!
Kristen is by far the BEST sitter I have had. She treated my cat Halo and dog Daisy like her own. They took to her very easily an usually Halo doesn't like new people. I felt they were very well cared for while away visiting family, I got pictures of them a few times a day, if she was unsure about something she texted me. I also love that she has so many animals at home herself not only 3 dogs but rabbits, chickens, and goats. She is a very loving caring person and perfect for caring for my pets. I felt they were safe and when I got home neither of them acted different, stressed, or uneasy they acted like they usually do when my husband an I get home. I will definitely be choosing her again she was wonderful
I had the opportunity to have Kristen care for my Shitzu/ Maltese mix, Oreo, while I was away for a few days. Oreo has separation anxiety and normally goes with me everywhere, however I was unable to bring him. That being said, Kristen made both he & I feel very comfortable, she was able to FaceTime me several times throughout the days and kept me updated. I didn’t have any worries! Oreo also struggles with a sensitive stomach & needs special food instructions, which Kristen followed perfectly. I felt completely at ease with Kristen caring for my fur-baby, I would highly recommend her services.

I actually have 2 large-breed dogs of my own, they are my babies! I also have some mini farm animals as well- 2 rabbits, 2 pygmy goats, and 4 chickens! So as you can tell I love all animals. I have done my research on nutrition & quality of life for these animals (such as what physical activities are needed or what kind of habitat is best). The safety of the animals in my care is my biggest priority!

I tend to ask owners about a pets preferences, any quirks they have, behavioral issues, special food instructions, if they have restrictions, allergies, how they play with other humans/animals. I want to know as much as I can to help the transition go smoothly for owner & pet!
A typical day
I usually get detailed information from owners to make sure we do activities their fur-babies are used too/ comfortable with! I do know several parks around town perfect for a mid-day stroll or to release some energy.

I am currently a part-time college student and I work part-time as an EMT-Basic. I have a flexible schedule, and I’m looking for some extra job opportunities! I believe physical activity and emotional connections are important for our pets! I can offer any indoor/outdoor activity your pet may need.
