I’m not sure if I believe people are dog whisperers. To me, it’s more like dogs are people whisperers. I believe dogs can tell what kind of person you are from the way that you interact with them and not just from the way you smell––it’s like they possess a special built-in radar for nice human and maybe not so nice human. Maybe our world wouldn’t be hurting so much if we could just be like those people dogs love. I believe in compassion, honesty, responsibility, and respect. Dogs have always felt at ease when I approach them and spending time with them makes me happy. When I’m around them, I just feel balanced and at ease. Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was born! My mom had two fur babies before she had me, so I’ve never known a world without the company of these adorable furballs full of unconditional love and joy. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than playing and cuddling with pups. I have worked at two dog day cares and worked in an animal shelter, and am currently working in the Spring, TX area at a dog day care. I’m currently a part-time student at Our Lady of the Lake University pursuing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a bachelors in Psychology. I guess you can say I’m interested in what makes all of us tick, and perhaps my perspective can help those in need. In the meantime, I want to spend as much time as possible with my four-legged friends. Unfortunately I do not have and dogs of my own yet, but I’m more than happy to go for long walks or I can provide pet-sitting care too. I’ve been around dogs all of my life and know dog behavior. I’m very intuitive of how the dog is feeling and how I can better their moods. I’m available anytime during the week except for Saturday mornings and afternoon as I will be attending class during that time. Dog sitting, drop in or walks, I love meeting new dog friends and am excited to bond with your furry family member. I should also note that I love cats and all other living creatures, including houseplants! My other passions are getting outdoors, staying active, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I hope to keep widening my circles of human and canine friends alike!
