Pet care experience
I have extensive experience boarding dogs and training them (past business). I am an avid studier of dog behavior and can also help you with training and basic grooming. I have three Rhodesian Ridgebacks, our home is critter free (no fleas or ticks here!) and I am passionate about dog care and providing a safe environment for them. It is important to me that any dog in my home feels comfortable and confident, and I will continue to work hard to ensure that is the case! I encourage visiting my home prior to leaving your dog with me so you feel comfortable as well. I feed Fromm's food and can work with you to feed your dog for a small additional cost. Can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Kristen has watched my dogs on several occasions. She is highly professional, has great attention to detail and instructions and has no problem managing a single dog all the way up to several dogs and a litter of puppies! Her knowledge and skill in canine behavior and training is top notch. Trustworthy and reliable, definitely someone you can trust with your 4-legged family members.
Kristen took Oliver for a nice long walk with updates provided. My little guy is a bit nervous around new people but Kristen took the time (and treats) to let him warm up to her. After the walk he missed her and watched her leave from the window. We will keep using Kristen! We both love her!

I cannot accept any dog that is prone to snapping or biting, has fleas or a transferable illness. I will need to see up to date records on rabies, bordatella and distemper.
A typical day
I walk my dogs around my neighborhood and I also live close to Reedy Creek Park so we can go to the dog park if you are comfortable with that. I love to play games with the dogs, using treats to shape behavior into "tricks" such as shaking paws or waving bye bye. It is just as important to engage their minds as well as their bodies for overall physical and mental wellness.
