My son and I recently started dogsitting to help him earn money for an upcoming trip. He’s 9 years old and does all of our jobs with me. He’s better with animals than most adults. It works out great because the pets get extra play time being he’s full of energy. He’s also very aware of animals personal boundaries. Since losing a dog of my own at a kennel I’ve always said that I would one day watch people’s animals in their home. That way they are comfortable and relaxed in an environment they’re use to. And also make it affordable. I currently have 6 dogs of my own, which is why I unfortunately cannot keep any pets at my home. I’ve also had dogs since I was 2 and my own dogs for over 20 years. Plenty of experience with large dogs.
