Pet care experience
My name is Kristen P, and I am back home to Charleston after receiving my BS in Biology from Washington and Lee University. I am a fourth year medical student at MUSC! I grew up with an English Springer Spaniel and two cats and have experience house sitting and walking dogs of all sizes and ages. My last dog was blind and deaf, so I can handle any dogs with special needs, and I also always love younger energetic dogs! I am an active runner, so I can help your dog expend some energy! I'm that person that stops and pets every dog I meet, so I can't wait to give your dogs some love! As a medical student, I love any chance to have a study break and walking dogs is my favorite break! Let me take care of your furry friends!

Kristen was absolutely wonderful! She helped me out last minute after another sitter canceled on me. I am so happy it worked out! Griffin had such a good time, and she took excellent care of him. Kristen is wonderful at communicating, and you can tell she really loves dogs. I knew the whole time that Griffin was in great hands. Book Kristen if you have the chance, you will be happy you did! She also sends the cutest pictures:) I would give ten stars if I could.

When I board pups in my home, they get so much love and extra attention from my dog-loving medical and dental school roommates who all miss their family dogs. I am great about checking in and sending pup-dates as well as have many repeat, long-term clients in the area.

I love exploring parks and neighborhoods with dogs, having play dates with the pups I watch and my sister's two rescues, as well as taking pups to play in my parents' yard in Mt P! Being born and raised in Charleston, I know a lot about pet friendly spots and good outdoor trails.

I am on medical rotations in the Charleston area, but while I am busy during work hours, I live 2 minutes from campus and come home for lunch every day! I would love to help out with walks, doggy boarding, and housesitting while you are away!
