My husband, Ben, and I have been boarding dogs in our home since November 2015 and love it! We have more than a dozen "regulars" and we have become good friends with them and their owners. We have a large (by city standards) fenced in yard (8 foot fences) in a friendly residential neighborhood (perfect for walks). We are strong and can handle unwieldy dogs who may not realize their size. We consider dogsitting a hobby - it's something that gives us great joy. Know that quality time with your dog will be a priority for us while your pooch is in our care. We also have a wonderful puppy named Max. He is very well-socialized given the frequency with which other dogs come through our home; he loves puppy visitors! He does a great job of adapting his style to the needs of our visitors; low-key for our senior dogs and high energy for pups who want to play. He shares his toys liberally...but will shred any stuffed toy you bring into the house.
