Pet care experience
I'm a veterinary assistant who loves animals. I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science. I have cats and turtles who are my whole world. I love dogs and plan to have multiple once I live somewhere that is dog friendly. Fostering animals is something that I am very passionate about. When my friends go out of town and need someone to watch their animals, I am their go-to because they know that I'll take care of their animals as if they're my own. I get along with all animals and can keep an eye on whatever type of animal you would like, small or large! I have experience administering medications to many different animals. Hiring Kristen to stay with our Bitsy cat while we were on vacation was the best decision we could have ever made! We love our cat so much and we had a lot of anxiety about leaving her, but Kristen made it so much easier for us. Kristen stayed in our home for nearly 2 weeks while we were away and kept in constant contact. We got plenty of picture updates and we even got to video chat and see our girl. Kristen kept the house in immaculate condition and took such good care of Bitsy. She asked all the right questions and made sure our Bitsy's routines stayed the same even while we were away. Amazing experience, highly recommend!! Thank you, Kristen!

I like to know vaccine histories, just so I know what I should and should not allow the dog to do. I want to know any pre-existing conditions that the animal has and if they are friendly toward other animals and people. It's useful information to know if the animal likes to try to escape.
A typical day
I go on walks with dogs around the neighborhood. If there are any parks nearby and the owner's okay with it, I love taking dogs out to parks so they can run and play. I love playing fetch with dogs and helping them learn new tricks.
