Hey I'm Kris, I am a very active 30 something, I would take your dog wherever I go, be it on a run, walk, or a bike ride. I try to make it to the beach every day. I'm great with big or little dogs. My family has Golden Retriever which I trained to walk off leash happily, and I will gladly use whatever method you prefer. My dog Luna is a husky, shar pei, terrier mix that loves to play with all kinds of dogs and pets. So your pup will have a bud to hang out with! About this sitter: Would you and your pooch feel more comfortable being cared for in their home territory? That's perfectly okay, I am willing to travel to you. If your dog has any special needs and would be an easier transition to your absence, that is completely understandable. I am completely flexible with whatever you or your pet requires. Please leave a list of requirements, tendencies, and preferences to insure a happy stay. Also, if there are things that needed to maintain the house (a.k.a watering plants) I can do that as well. I have sat in people's houses prior. My longest experience so far was for 4 day stay with 3 dogs. I have also stayed off and on with friends' dogs while away, up to 2-3 dogs is my limit. I can assist in dog training, focusing skills, and socializing with other dogs over continued stays with me or in your home. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I would always volunteer to walk neighborhood and friends' dogs. My family has raised our dog since she was a puppy, so I am pretty much hooked on dogs. My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable administering medications, as long as precise and well written instructions are provided.

Kristen was so patient with Tyson. He can get aggressive when he's scared, and he panicked the first evening she came over on her own. She spent about an hour waiting for him to calm down so that she could feed him and take him for a walk. I really appreciated her determination and patience. While he was in her care, I received daily photos of Tyson to update me on their adventures together. She took him to work, dog parks and beaches.
Kristen has watched my 7 yr old Golden Retriever, Rosie, several times. Rosie gets excited whenever she sees Kristen. Rosie knows that she is going to get a lot of love and attention when Kristen watches her. I trust Kristen completely to take care of Rosie and treat her as if she was hers.

Before a dog is brought into my care I would like to make sure the dog is housebroken and is comfortable using a dog door to go outside for using the bathroom. During the day I work and would leave the house with one other dog present. I want to be able to go to work (8 hrs) and not worry about your dog getting so stressed that it destroys something. I have no breed preference whatsoever.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks There are many routes around my neighborhood. There are some that includes parks, walking paths, beaches, pavement. I am also willing to drive for more adventurous walks on trails. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. Whether it be in my room, living room, outside, or even on a bench by my bed Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend as much time as I possibly can (which is every waking hour). Extra house-sitting services Since I prefer in home sitting situations I am more than able to do any services needed. If deemed necessary like house cleaning or something major I will ask for extra payment. I.e. shopping or cleaning house more than needed for myself to have you return to the same state as you left it.

We take daily walks at noon and play time after 5. I work remotely from home. If a morning walk is needed it would be before 8 am.
