About us: Just your classic dog lover here. If you pass me on the street with your dog, the answer is yes - I’d love to pet him/her! My husband and I just bought our first home together with our sweet 9 year old Lab, Mr. Madison. He gets along with all dogs and we love to hang outside in the yard (fenced, finally!). We bought the home for many reasons (needed more space, just got married, want to start a family) but let’s be real, we bought the house with a yard to give a better life to our dog! We live an active lifestyle in general so getting out and about with a pup just makes walks/runs that much more fun for me! Mr. Madison loves other dogs too, so having a friend home with him is a benefit to all of us. My job is very flexible and I work from often, with short office visits 1-2 times a week. I would love to help keep your pup safe and happy while you go out of town - looking forward to chatting!

Kristen and Mike (& their pup, Mr. Madison) took such great care of our Golden, April! We loved getting pics and videos while we were away which reflected a very happy pup … sooo comforting!! We highly recommend them as they are very knowledgeable and intuitive of dog’s care and one can be assured that their pup will be well loved and cared for!
Pepper had a wonderful time with Kristen and her husband! They seemed to take great time with him, supplying cuddles and making him feel right at home. When we picked him up, he and Madison were at the door, side by side, like brothers . I will be using her again!
Kristin, her hubby and Mr. Madison were awesome with our Molly. She was with them for 10 days and we received updates and pics every day. Molly is a bit of an anxious dog in new environments but it took no time for her to settle in comfortably with Mr. Madison. They even worked on her leash walking skills! They were lovely dog people and I would totally recommend them.
Kristen and her husband, Michael, were so loving and generous to April while we were on a vacation! Their dog, Madison, was a great companion and we loved getting pics and videos of them playing together! Both my husband and I are very grateful to have found such fantastic caregivers for our Golden, and highly recommend them!

I will always ask preferences and specific pet needs ahead of a stay including meal times, crate needs, treat restrictions, any medications, energy levels, injuries to be aware of, are they comfortable with other dogs, and any other points relevant to your pup
A typical day
We love when dogs bring in their favorite toys so they feel comfortable when they’re with us. Of course, most dogs tend to gravitate towards other dogs’ toys. This is a new neighborhood for us so I would love to have some K9 companions as I explore the neighborhood and parks (and W&OD trail)

Schedule: I can provide multiple walks and potty breaks. With already having a lab, another dog doesn’t affect our normal routine and it gives Mr. Madison a buddy while I’m working.
