My family had a dog while growing that my brother and I were in charge of. Throughout college my roommates had pets and friends would ask me to pet sit for them! I watched my brothers cats for about 4 months, and then got my own shortly after! My kitties are the light of my life! I also fostered a dog at the start of COVID that we had for 3 months before my roommates boyfriend adopted him so he is still in my life! I am a medical student so taking care of lives is my calling, be it animals or people! That also means that I study most of the day and would love nothing more than to take study breaks to spend time playing with pets!

Kristen did an amazing job with our two cats! They loved her instantly and with her personal experience with cats, she loved them right back! I knew I was leaving them in safe hands with her. While we were gone she gave detailed updates about their visits and kept me informed with any hiccups along the way. She gave them lots of attention and truly cared for them in my absence. My schedule can be rather sporadic as I occasionally work 24hr shifts (which I block off my calendar). I am available most evenings and can squeeze in time during the day to take care of pets!
