House + backyard - space to play!

Pet care experience

IMPORTANT: We require in-person meet and greets at least one day prior to all overnight boarding requests. This allows both of us, you, and your pup to feel comfortable with their temporary home away from home. Dogs have always been a big part of our lives. Growing up, we were obsessed with our family dogs It was through caring for them that we learned how to properly care for, exercise, and give the right kind of love and attention to dogs. From Rhodesian Ridgebacks to Chihuahuas we have experience with all kinds of dog breeds, big or small. We are currently deciding on the type of pup we want to adopt and in the interim, have decided to help other dog owners care for their fur-babies because we know that it can be difficult to find trusted sitters and walkers with flexible schedules like we currently have. Why hire us? First of all, you’re getting 2 attentive and high quality dog sitters in one home to care for your pet. We are both dog people through and through, and find that pups naturally gravitate towards our calm, positive energy. We are also extremely active and love to be outside. We are responsible and reliable—two traits that are critical in top-notch pet sitters. We won’t flake on our appointments—when we say we’ll be there, we mean it. We are extremely responsive to texts or calls and will keep the line of communication as open as possible between us with photo and video updates in real-time. Our care style is based on positive reinforcement and we will ask the right questions so that we understand your dog’s unique personality. We can promise your dog will leave our home feeling loved and cared for! We both have flexible full-time jobs that allow us to work from home whenever we would like. We can wake up for your dog’s schedule and be available for walks, meds, etc as needed. Feel free to let us know what your pet’s schedule is. We have a fenced-in back yard for your pup to run around and play. You can also be assured that your dog will be the only dog at our house so they will get all of the attention, love, and care that they deserve. Couch snuggling, walks, fetch, playtime, positive affirmations and more will be included in your pet’s stay!

We really appreciated the care that Kristen and Patrick provided for our dog while we were out of town. This was our first time using Rover but they made us fe so comfortable knowing our dog was in great hands. They are very kind and understanding when our dog had some issues settling in. They were extremely communicative with pictures and updates. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Absolutely wonderful and caring sitters. My dog got sick during her stay but they handled a really “shitty” situation with amazing kindness and professionalism. Truly would recommend them to anyone.

Kristen and Patrick always take amazing care of Miso and send lots of cute pictures. He loves them and clearly feels very comfortable in their home. When I picked him up today he didn’t want to leave! They are our first choice any time we need to travel. Thank you again! :)

We have a dedicated area in the living room for their bed and/or crate. This is where we'll set them up with all of their toys and blankets. Food and water will be placed very close by near the kitchen doorway for easy access. Throughout the stay, check-ins will be done every morning and evening (or more if you would like!) This will include photos or videos. If you require more than 2 check-ins per day please don’t hesitate to let us know during the meet and greet! During their stay, there will be plenty of time for snuggles, naps, walks, and play. Since we have a fenced in yard, you can rest assure that your dog will be safe when let outside to sniff/play. We also have comfy couches and a good size home for them to feel comfortable in. We've watched plenty of dogs with anxiety, health issues, and quirks. We are always able to win them over and provide them with what they need to ensure a smooth stay while their favorite person(s) is gone. If you have any questions or requests, please do not hesitate to ask. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

A typical day

Our time together will be a healthy blend of outdoor fun and activity as well as indoor spoiling and cuddling! Our home is in beautiful Congress Park. We have a fenced-in backyard with room to play and run around. There are also lots of walkable areas near our home, including other parks. If you are okay with it, we would love to take your dog hiking with us as well (during warmer temps)! That’s one of our favorite things to do and having a canine companion is the absolute best. If not, we can always go to local parks and walk the neighborhood (fully leashed, of course!).
