Hello! I am a PhD student at CU looking to help out other dog/cat lovers in need. I have three dogs of my own that I have had to board in the past, and I know it adds up and some dogs would rather be in their own home. For this reason, I am ready to help other dog owners out while they are away on vacation or just at work. As a PhD student, I work a lot, but thankfully I have flexible hours so I can get away to walk, run, and hike your pooches at your convenience. I live and work in Boulder, so I usually bike and bus everywhere. I even have a dog trailer for my bike to take dogs up to 110lbs to hiking trails, the vet, or wherever! I also have a large car for all of these things. For house sitting, I would prefer not to sit in my own home since I already do have 3 dogs and a cat, but I am more than willing to come to your home and take care of your animals, water your plants, grab your mail, and more. Please let me know if your dog likes to hike or run! I run almost every day and go on a few hikes a week and would love for your dog to tag along with one of my friendly dogs and me. In addition, I was a vet tech for 3 years, so I am familiar with emergencies and signs to look for in a sick pup. I've also attended many dog training seminars and volunteer at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley as a dog walker. Your dog(s) will be in good hands!
