Pet care experience
I love animals and their quirky behaviours so much that I majored in it at university! I enjoyed studying the subject, but of course nothing brings me more joy than a long walk, jog, play-time, or scratch-session with a furry friend. I have taken care of my ol' boy Murphy, a fluffy Bearded Collie, for 11 years and recently branched out to dog-/house-sitting for friends. Volunteering in a veterinary clinic has also given me experience calming, loving, and caring for dogs at times when they were feeling rather vulnerable. Feel free to get in touch before scheduling our first session if you would like to learn more about me or have any special requests. I look forward to learning about all of your best-friend's favourite toys and patches of grass!
About Kristen E.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am a respectful dog and house sitter in a pet-friendly building close to the beach and the long seawall. I'll go wherever your pup feels most comfortable.
Information Kristen E. would like to know about your pet
Before our first hang-out, I like knowing if there is anything that triggers anxiousness in your dog (e.g., garbage trucks, thunder storms, other dogs). This way I can be proactive about avoiding any unnecessary stress.
A typical day
Walk - Run - Play - Pet - Scratch - Walk some more - Water - Feed - Groom - Play more and mess up grooming - Repeat until time's up!
Services
Kristen can watch in your home
Availability
I'm currently working a flexible part-time position, so plenty of availability for dog care if you find yourself in need of a walker or sitter last minute.
