Pet care experience
From childhood till now, I've never been without a pet. I've cared for hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, cats, and dogs. It is my belief that animals are very receptive to how we treat them, and therefore deserve the utmost love and patience. I greatly enjoy engaging with animals, whether its going for walks, playing at the park, or cuddling up after a long day at work. I am very aware of how hard it can be to find someone you can trust to watch over your extended fur-family, but I can assure you that without hesitation, I will do my best to see that your pets are well cared for. I may not be perfect myself, but i'll be the perfect sitter to your pets.

Kristen was marvelous! She took tons of pictures of my 3 dogs and they looked so happy and comfortable. She didn't mind bringing in our mail and watering our vegetables. She went above and beyond and picked up poop in the yard for us. Kristen will be my go-to for sure!

This is my 2nd time using Kristen as a pet sitter. She was very well received by my cats. There was also very good communication the whole time. There were never any issues and I received many good cat photos while I was gone. I will definitely contact you again for the next time. Thanks again.

Though my current housing doesn't quite allow for me to bring my rover work home, I am happy to acclimate myself to your pets needs in your home or nearby parks as permitted. I have no problem administering medication, ointments, or monitoring any other health related things. I will always prioritize your pets comfort and insure that I accommodate every personality, i.e if your dog is reactive on walks or may have any behavioral issues, or you impliment specific training/routines, I will do my part to make sure I maintain situations the way you instruct/require. The safety of your pet, and the trust of you and your fur family, are my top priorities at all times.

I am not here to judge, but rather assist in anyway you need for you and your pets comfort/safety. That being said, please be sure to inform me of any behavioral related issues your pet may face, i.e resource guarding, leash aggression, dog reactivity, etc. So that I may be prepared to anticipate/avoid certain situations as best I can. As far as medical needs go, I have no problem administering injections or oral medication, and though I have limited experience with such things, if I'm ever unsure of a process you need followed, I am happy to walk through steps/instructions during our meet and greets to ensure I meet your pets needs.
A typical day
My interactions with your pets are not without your permission. If you have a specific routine for exercise or stimulation I am happy to oblige, and if given permission I also have no problem taking dogs to local parks for walks/play. Daisy has a favorite tug rope toy? We can tug rope all day. Max was a seal in a past life? Off to falls township lake we go for lake play time. Tucker is an only fur-child but loves to make friends? Off to the dog park we go.

Availability
I work overnights, mon-thurs, so I have plenty of availability during the week as well as the weekends. I make it a point to try and be as flexible as possible with any changes or requests that you may need, I understand things come up and plans change, and I only want to assist in making the finding-pet-care process as stress free as possible.
