Pugs not drugs!
Pet care experience
I currently have two six year old pugs ( one of which is believed to be a Pug-French bulldog mix) and I previously had another Pug and a French Bulldog for 13 years. I find these breeds to be so extremely cute, affectionate and entertaining to be around. Our home has a designated dog area with a doggie door that leads to a backyard where the pugs love to sunbathe. The dogs are generally allowed on the first floor of the house. Although they can go in and outside as they wish like free range chickens, I also walk my pugs in the vicinity of the house at least twice a day. They always have fresh water and lots of toys. I am adept at feeding, bathing and administering medications to dogs if needed.

We appreciated Kristen’s calming and inviting ways. We had a short visit prior to our dog’s 4 night stay. This seemed to help tons with having a successful outcome for both parties. We received photos and messages throughout our vacation. We could feel that Kristen got to know our dog’s personality by the comments she made in our messages. My back yard is fenced with a 6 foot retaining wall. I have a dedicated dog area with several dog beds and plenty of room for your dog’s bed if you’d like to bring it over. There are usually a variety of toys around and we have a doggie door that dogs can use to go in and out of the backyard as desired. I also walk my dogs twice a day as we have a great walking path adjacent to the house.

I would want to know what you would like your dogs schedule to be and if they have any special needs etc. do they take medication and or dietary restrictions and how comfortable they are being away from you and around other dogs. Also I would like to know that they have been fully vaccinated and their distance limit for walks
A typical day
I am awake and downstairs by 7:30 am and often the dogs are still snuggled up sleeping in their beds. We typically start the day with a walk to get some fresh air and (usually) some vitamin d /sunshine. Then the pugs want to have breakfast. They also like to go in and out through the doggy door at their own discretion and we often play ball or play with their plushie squeeky toys. Then they want to have a mid morning snack/light lunch before nap time. Later in the day we do an afternoon /early evening walk and they might have some music therapy while getting a gentle massage or brushing. Then it’s almost time for dinner as pugs generally prefer to eat as many times a day as possible. Sometimes we have a movie night where the pugs lay on their bed in front of the fireplace and chew on something. My dogs almost always sleep through the entire night. Snoring !

Availability
I am available most weekends! I would like to limit my pet sitting to Pugs and French bulldogs right now as I feel most familiar with those breeds and their needs and think they will most easily assimilate into our household.
