Hi! My name is Kristen. I have always had an extraordinary love for animals since I can remember; but I feel I am most passionate about dogs. When my English bulldog left my world, I wanted to help care for everyone else’s “man’s best friend” as if they were my own. A little background: My childhood dream was to be a vet (and still is), but in college I studied business and went in that direction. I am still pursuing my passion and finding ways to spend time alongside animals. I want to ensure other people that their pet is in the best hands. As a child, I would rescue anything from fish and butterflies, to birds and small rodents; and have continued to do so as an adult. While living in Texas after college, I initiated online Vet Tech school. I volunteered for a large, high capacity shelter and humane society combined, (mainly dogs and cats). I loved the experience of finding the animals forever homes after helping to train them. Side note: I am not a licensed Vet Tech, as I moved to NY amidst school and volunteering. Trusting someone with your family pet, fur child/best friend, can be stressful. I would love to help simplify your time away from home, and put your worries at ease.
