I am currently a Bachelor of Science student earning a degree in Cynology (canine studies) at Bergin University of Canine Studies. Bergin University is the only place in the entire world where someone can go to earn a a degree specifically related to the canine. Dr. Bonnie Bergin is the president and CEO of the university, and she is also the same woman who invented the concept of the service dog back in 1976. I have had the honor and privilege of having Dr. Bergin as my professor and mentor. After I earn my Master's Degree from Bergin University, I will be opening up a non-profit organization with my husband to breed and raise service dogs to help people with disabilities. It has always been my dream to help others, and having such a strong passion for dogs has led me down this road where I receive the best of both worlds; I get to be around dogs every day and still help people. I train service dogs every semester at Bergin University, and I have also volunteered to train dogs at the local humane society in order to make them more adoptable. I am a professional dog trainer who uses positive reinforcement and non-aversive methods for all of my training techniques. When I watch your furry family member for you, I don't just babysit; I train a little too. Your dog will be better when you come home than it was when you left. I understand the psychology of the dog, and will attend to your dog's needs. I love all dogs and all shapes & sizes.
