I've been a dog companion at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, so I have experience with a variety of different dogs. My duties included reading their kennel cards, taking them on walks, comforting them when they're afraid, and playing with them. I also have two dogs of my own: a Lab/Shepherd mix and an American Staffordshire/Husky/Terrier mix (she is quite the mutt). I've had my lab Dozer for 6 years and my other dog Luna for 3 1/2 years. I am used to high energy dogs, but I love calm dogs too :-) I love to go on walks and runs, I cook my pups organic meals every week, I take my dogs swimming, and I spoil them rotten. I'd treat your dog as I would my own!
