Pet care experience
I was 8 when I started helping out caring for my family dog. He was with us for 12 years and while caring for all of his needs (and wants!) on a daily basis, I have also been there for friends and family time and time again to check in on their pets while on vacation, to walk and feed them, or to just spend quality time with them. I love dogs of all sizes (but I have a sweet spot for little dogs since my family dog was a shih tzu!) and really I love all animals, as you can see in some of my photos. I truly appreciate the opportunity to care for your pet(s)!

Growing up, Kristen and I had a wonderful but at times very high maintenance little Shih Tzu. She always took such great care of him throughout all the good days and bad days he had. Taking care of him involved not only love and attention, toys and fun, but administering eye and ear drops, physical therapy exercises to his legs, giving oral medication, and cleaning up many many accidents he had in the house. When Kristen is around an animal, her attention is fully on them at all times. Not just because she loves animals, but because she is a caring person at heart. Being around animals makes Kristen happier, and I know she would make an outstanding pet caregiver that anyone would be lucky to have.

When in the clients home, I very much cater my service to the home and individual needs of the pet. That being said, you can always expect lots of snuggles and play time when I am caring for a clients pet! I am very attentive and patient with dogs of all ages, so no need to worry, they are in safe hands with me. :)

Please inform me of any special needs your dog has, whether it be physical limitations, sensory issues, or other additional care the dog may need such as medications/physical therapy/exercising needs. I will do my very best to cater to any dogs needs but it is especially helpful for me to know ahead of time so I can give your dog the best experience in my care.
A typical day
The neighborhood I live in has a wonderful long walking path that stretches about a mile as well as an adorable dog park right within walking distance to my own townhome! These are great places for me to bring a clients pet, and will give them lots of playtime and walking time.

Availability
I currently work a full 9-5 job, but I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and I am free on weekends to be there for your pet! Whether it’s house sitting, a quick check-in or just to take them out for a nice walk.
