Did you know sniffing is really good for your dogs? Dogs need mental activity as much as physical activity and allowing them to sniff on their walk gives them that. It doesn't only wear them out, it is good for every dog to use their senses and work their brains. I can help you do just that :) I'm Kristen and I've lived in the Boston area for 7 years. I am so lucky that I get to work with dogs full time as a dog trainer and behavior consultant. I LOVE working with animals! Not only do I work with dogs, but also cats and birds! My schedule is adaptable and I can accomadate most days. I have two rescue dogs with completely opposite personalities; a calm and quiet 5 year old 30lb Beagle mix that thinks she is a little Diva and a 15 month old 60lb extremely enthusiastic Kelpie mix. I train with them regularly in agility and scent work. They are so much fun! I'm focused on growing my dog training, walking, and consulting business. I love taking care of cats too! I've done overnights with young pups through 17 year old dogs, taken care of dogs with special needs, and required medicine. I’ve done drop-ins for pups that need to go sniffing or those that need a ball thrown. I have an extensive background working with dogs that are shy, anxious, have minor leash aggression issues, or are currently training under a behavioral modification plan. Puppies: I love PUPPIES - they are just the best and it helps me get my fix in so we don’t end up with 2 dogs under 2! ? Birds/ Parrots:! If you are looking for a sitter for your parrot/bird, send me a message. Cats: I love doing drop-ins for cats. Some like to greet you, others like to know you are there. Either way, I can easily adapt to the cats personality. More importantly, they will be taken care of :) Feel free to email me with special requests, questions, or if I have a day marked as away, I likely have some times available. Right now, I can do dog walks anytime on Monday , Wednesday, Friday and most weekends. On Tuesday and Thursday, I can do dog walks between 6am and 11:30am or between 4:30-7pm.
