Pet care experience
There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t had a pet. Growing up I had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and a rabbit. I love all animals and treat them like a member of the family, because they are. I currently have three dogs of my own; two middle aged and an older pup. I have been a part of rover for a couple years now and love all the fur babies I get to meet. I have been a part of a couple different professional training experiences and am able to help train basic commands.

I live on a large property away from traffic. We have a very basic fence around our yard which works for some dogs but not all (one of my own is an escape artist so he needs to be walked on a leash.) I will ask you about your comfortability with letting your dog off leash or if you prefer they remain leashed while in my care. I give my animals unconditional love but know that a routine is incredibly important and beneficial as well. I will follow whatever routine you have set for your pet.

I need to know your dogs temperament and how they interact with older dogs and high energy dogs. I also need to know any naughty behaviors they’ve been known to have (counter surfing, going through garbage, eating non edible objects such as toys, etc.)
A typical day
We love to take our pups to a family owned pond that is right down the road from us. The pups gets to run in a big open field and go swimming if they like! It helps get there energy out and they have so much fun!

I’m available to board on weekends and do check ins during the day. I work full time Monday-Friday 9-5 in Kingston. I would be willing to pick your dog up to/from home/daycare depending on where you live and my availability
