Pet care experience
My husband is stationed here at Schofield Barracks and we live on base. I'm a nurse part-time but one of my favorite things to do on my days off is spend time around dogs. No matter whether you're looking for a calm, relaxing stay for your dog or an energetic fun filled playdate for your puppy, I'd love to provide whatever you're looking for. We don't have any kids but we do have a 7 year old Golden Retriever who is very friendly and easy-going, loves meeting other dogs, and especially racing them in a game of fetch. I've been pet sitting for friends and family for around 15 years and have always had animals. I've been professionally caring for dogs on Rover for about 5 years. I'm comfortable and well experienced with most any breed and personality. I'm used to customizing care based on your pup's needs. We can go for a leisurely walk or a energy burning jog, spend time at the dog park, or just lounge around at home. Between my husband and I, we can usually be very flexible with our timing and ensure that your pup receives the very best care. Kristel walked my lab for a couple weeks while I recovered from an injury. She was a HUGE help in getting him some much needed exercise and socialization. She was friendly and always communicated clearly. Even with my dog’s anxious temperament, Kristel took good care of him and always brought him back ready for a long nap. I’m very grateful for the help, and can’t recommend them enough!
Kristel & Philip did drop in visits for my dog while I was at work. They did an excellent job communicating and updating me during each visit with photos and messages. I am confident that my pup was well taken care of during their time together. Would book again!
Kristal shared photos and communicated frequently about Allie. Very pleased with them. I have already rebooked with them for my next trip.
Kristel was wonderful (we never got the chance to meet Philip). She clearly love dogs, and took great care of ours. She sent pictures regularly, and kept us updated about how the dogs were doing. The dogs even seemed better behaved when they got home. Kristel is the first person we're going to contact when we need a dog sitter again.

I have a fenced yard with a high fence and a doggy door that can be left open or closed depending on your dog's needs. The dogs are free to roam the entire first floor which is all laminate flooring. Anytime we leave the house, we will ensure the dogs are separated and safe.

A typical day
A typical day can involve whatever your pup needs and varies for every dog. My Golden and I love to hike, go to the beach to swim, and jog around the neighborhood. We also have a dog park down the street if you'd like more socialization.

Availability
I work 3 days a week at the local hospital and my husband works weekdays about a half a mile away from our house. One of us is usually home most days. On days where we both work, there will not be periods of longer than about four hours that one of us wouldn't be able to drop by the house.
