My husband and I have had our rescue dog, Texas, for almost two years. He has been an incredible addition to our family and brings us so much happiness, love, and joy! Before we had our own dog, we regularly dog sat for friends of ours, so we're used to having other dogs come into our home and making them feel safe and welcomed away from their owners. They would be glad to recommend us to take care of your pets. My husband and I also have flexible work schedules, making it easier to regularly take pets outside for walks and potty breaks. Finally, we most recently lived in New York City, so we have experience dog walking in urban settings and in keeping dogs safe and entertained in apartments.

In my four years of knowing Krista, I can confirm that she is a great professor, a really good friend, and a responsible mother to her greyhound Texas. I am also able to state that Krista is a fantastic dog walker and sitter, because she's been our capable dog walker and sitter for four years. Krista is always ready, willing, and able to watch our beloved dog Pelfrey in our absence. Krista even took Pelfrey for an indeterminate amount of time on one hour's notice when we had a death in the family last year, because that's the type of person that she is. As aforesaid, others will certainly tell you that Krista is a great friend, a nice person, and a consummate professional in her position as a theology professor. Please allow this testimonial to echo those truths. However, we can tell you unequivocally that in addition to these qualities, she's a fantastic dog sitter and energetic and watchful dog walker, and we can make these assurances from our own personal experience.
Krista is more than a friend or a family member to us and our dog. Rather, for the better part of four years, Krista has been our go-to dog sitter whenever we needed her to watch our Pelfrey. Initially, she would watch Pelfrey at our apartment in Queens, New York. Later, when her dog Texas came in and joined her and her husband Scot, she would board Pelfrey and keep a close eye on both dogs in a two-bedroom apartment in the Bronx, making sure that both of our boys got plenty of time to exercise outside year-round. Outside of each other, our dog does not love, or anticipate the arrival of, anyone so much as he does Krista and Scot. Krista always does - and did - a fantastic job of watching Pelfrey, walking him at least three times per day, and feeding him. The latter is a particularly involved assignment, as Pelfrey requires special brands and amounts of prescription food due to a propensity toward UTIs. Krista has always treated Pelfrey as well as she treats her Texas, and is loving, gentle, and watchful to such a degree that we've never lost a moment of "vacation sleep" or had a single worry, care, or concern when Pelfrey was in her charge. We can't thank Krista enough for taking such great care of our beloved dog Pelfrey. I highly recommend Krista to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, smart, and reliable pet sitter.
