Pet care experience
Hello! I am Krista, and I would love to take care of your furry loved ones! I absolutely love animals. Dogs are my absolute favorite. They always bring joy to my day! I used to work as a dog groomer/doggy daycare attendant. A few months ago, I took a veterinary assistant/canine and feline healthy and safety course online. I passed, and received a certificate. I learnt alot about canine and feline health, safety and first aid. I have watched a few of family/friends dogs before while they went away, so I do have experience with watching other owners dogs, and I absolutely loved it! I treat every dog like it is my own...which leads me to my next topic. I do have a 5 year old golden retriever. His name is Mason, and he loves to meet new friends, and always makes them feel welcomed! He gets along with all types of dogs. In my household, it is just me, and my fiance Tom, who is also a huge dog lover, like myself. Our home is a cute colonial, with a spacious yard located in the country. Inside our house is spacious and comfy. Our backyard is not fenced off, however, we are thinking of putting up a fence in the corner of our backyard, to benefit the dogs I pet sit, and for Mason. If your dog is an active dog that loves or requires exercise, I will walk him/her, also our basement is decent sized, and pretty empty, so they could run around down there and get some exercise and playtime. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover ever since I got a job working with dogs, which was about 6 years ago. I worked as a dog groomer and doggy daycare attendant, and I realized how much joy dogs gave me, and made me so happy! I then decided to get my own dog, Mason, and from there on, I fell in love with dogs! About my yard Please check out my photos, I posted a few of my front and back yard. At the moment, we do not have any fenced in area. However, we are looking into purchasing a pen fence to put in the backyard, if we get clients.

Krista was a treat. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog, Jasmine, with her for the weekend of my sister's wedding. She was very responsive, and her house was very nice. Jasmine seemed to have a great time, as she slept all Sunday after I picked her up in the early afternoon.
Krista would make a great pet sitter , she has a big heart for all animals. Krista takes photos of dogs and cats voluntarily at a local shelter in hopes of getting them adopted ,in which many cases they have .Krista would be a great candidate .
Krista has taken care of my Saint Bernard at her house several times for a day or 2 and for a 10 day vacation. Bailey gets excited and starts to wag her tail when we pull up the street. She knows where she is going. Krista is very good with Bailey. She takes her for a walk and plays with her. Bailey gets along well with Mason, who is Krista's dog, and he is a sweetie. The house and the yard are spotless and it's well worth the ride to get to Krista's house for pet care. ~Betty
Krista is a true dog lover. She has such a big heart for animals, and would do anything for them. She is very responsible, and makes sure to treat every dog like it's her own. She watches my dog for a few days when I was gone on vacation, and she always made sure to give me updates of how my dog was, and sent me ocassional pictures of my dog. I could tell my dog had a great time at her house, she didn't want to leave! Krista won't let you down!

I would like to know the sex of the dog, the breed, if they are house trained, crate trained, good on/off leash, if they are neutered/spayed, up to date with shots, any medical/health issues, how they sleep at night, and if they get along well with other dogs.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks It depends on your dog. If your dog is in shape, there is a hiking trail right across the street from us we take Mason on, he loves it! If your dog prefers shorter, casual walks, we live in a dead end road, so it is not busy at all. We take Mason for walks to the end of our road and back, its a nice leisure walk :) Your dog's sleeping arrangement It depends how your dog is house trained wise, and what they are used to. If they are used to sleeping in your bed with you, we can put dog beds in our bedroom for them to sleep on, or we have empty guest rooms upstairs, they can sleep there. Or, if they are used to sleeping in a crate at night, I can put them in their crate. I won't allow them on our bed. Mason sleep on the bed, and it is crowded enough as it is! :) Time I'll spend with your dog I am not working, other than pet sitting. So pretty much all day, unless I have to run errands.
