I'm the person who will take care of your fur babies like they're my own! I am a 3rd year veterinary student and soon to be veterinarian. I will not be available for in person meet & greet until May10th 2023 locally until I return from veterinary school but can arrange calls and video calls if needed. I also have over 7 years experience working as a veterinary technician in small animal medicine & also worked at UF Large Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. (Yes, I do horses but they are not covered by rover and would need to arranged separately). I have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, I have also graduated with a second Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology, a 2nd Bachelor's in Veterinary Technology as well as a post-bachelors certificate in veterinary practice management. I'm self-motivated, honest, trustworthy, outgoing, & great with communication. I do my best and take pride in leaving your home how I found it, and aside from your pets being cared for while you're away I do my best to leave no evidence I was there. I have 3 cats and 1 dog at home and they are all amazing little creatures! For House Sitting Services I offer I include standard animal care (playing, feeding, 1-2 average walks per day 0.5-1mile, basic medications if needed). Another great stay, good care for our dog and updates throughout!
Krista is great. She met with me prior to my trip and I knew she would be a solid fit with my doggies. While I was gone, she kept in touch with pictures and information and I know she was kind and sweet with my babies. Upon my return, my house was in perfect order and my dogs were happy. I highly recommend Krista if you need a pet sitter.
Krista recently house-sat for us and cared for our dog and horses while we were out of the country for 2 1/2 weeks. This was the third time we have trusted Krista with our home and beloved pets. As always, she did a wonderful job and we were able to enjoy our vacation without any worry. She diligently monitored our dog's serious medical condition, sent daily updates and photos, and left our home in immaculate condition. Our dog received more attention, walks, and play-time from Krista than she typically does from us. Krista went above and beyond!
Took great care of our pooch! Krista was in touch daily, with photos and a few videos. Very open and communicative, and clearly got along with our dog. Would book again -

Anything your dog specifically does and/or does NOT like or do well with (i.e. cars, children, cats, other dogs, etc). I need to know any health conditions or concerns, strange things going on, things like tend to "get into trouble" doing, favorite toys, places, and anything else you find important! If you have very specific verbal and hand cues, this will help me quickly communicate and bond with your pet.
A typical day
Anything you do with your dog for fun, I will try to accommodate! Walks, play time in the yard, cuddling, treats, fetch, or any other activity the pet loves or owner notes as a favorite to stimulate them to release their energy.

Pet care is my life between being a veterinary student and an owner of my own pets. I am accustomed to working my schedule around the needs of my own animals as well as any pets that are under my care. I will be on break from school and available freely to fit the needs of any pet I book.
