Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Krista! I’m a responsible and energetic engineer and Stanford grad. I have been around animals my entire life, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles and everything in between. I have experience with puppies and kittens, as well as with older and sick/injured animals. I foster kittens, and I volunteer as a rehabilitator of orphaned and injured birds of prey, including owls, hawks, and falcons. I am fearless, adventurous, and not afraid to get dirty. Above all, I LOVE ANIMALS!

Krista stepped in last minute to take care of our cat over a 4 day weekend, and did a great job- she was very attentive, able to give oral medication, and sent great updates and photos while we were gone.
I cannot say enough good things about Krista! I was super hesitant to leave my kittos and use Rover, but not anymore, thanks to Krista! She was responsive, kind, and most importantly loving to my sweet boys. I really appreciated that she made time to come over ahead of time to meet my cats and so I can show her the ropes. I looked forward to my daily Rover cards! She sent pictures and updates and truthfully made me feel at ease while I was away. I am super grateful for Krista and will definitely be using her again for any of my future Rover bookings!

I’m sure they will miss you, but I’ll keep them busy and distracted and we’ll have a blast until you come back! Safety is also very important to me, so rest assured your pets are in good hands. Also, if boarding, I have a fenced yard that they can run around in. I also have a 9 year old female labrador retriever of my own for some doggy companionship!

It is helpful to know if your dog is reactive to any stimuli ahead of time, such as other dogs, etc., so I know how I can make them feel most safe. Otherwise just let me know if they have any special requirements or schedules.
A typical day
I’m happy to just hang out or take your dog wherever you would like - walks around the neighborhood, out to Mussel Rock and the beach. I’m very active and can provide a fun time for your furry friend!
