JUST DON’T. Let me just tell you what happened. You decide for yourself. I kept in contact w/Krista before and after the booking. We were staying in Sevierville TN. She was listed just SE of there next to interstate. SHE MOVED 40 minutes away and never changed her profile. She offered to p/u Mobie in Gatlinburg.... We wanted to see where he would be staying, so we drove the extra 40 minutes. The address was not available on the GPS, because it is a one room shed/workshop in the back yard of a Very kind grandmother’s home. Upon arrival, only hours after telling Krista approximately when we would arrive... NO ONE WAS HOME. We found the grandma, who knew nothing about the pet-sitting business and let us know 1) she was angry and 2) she is allergic to dogs. She offered to tie Moby on her back porch in freezing mountain weather. We suggested she just let Moby into the locked shed. It at least had a wood stove. There is NO CELL SERVICE HERE or else we would have made other arrangements. When grandma opened the shed door- OMG we knew at least Moby would be chillin’. The smoke from recently imbibed Marijuana bellowed out from the little room. In Krista’s defense, there was a bowl of kibble and a bowl of water. (Not only a bowl of weed) We got grandma’s phone # and called her that night and the next morning. Krista also offered to meet us at the intrastate as we departed. NOPE. No Krista. Drive 80 minutes this time. (There and back) She never showed up at all. A boy walks out with Mobie on his leash, with our kibble and his chew toy. Never said one word. I said thank you, took our dog and got the h— out of there. THEN the next day I get a message from Krista, trying to get us to PAY AGAIN!!! Oh dear. I hope the email/messaging part of the app improves. I did not curse at her no matter how much I felt like it. Poor sweet grandma is trying to help for the great grandchild’s sake. But these are just users and will probably never get off the weed, get on their own and be productive citizens. It was so disheartening.
